    This three-part program focuses on advancing leadership skills, strategic thinking, and professional growth through curriculum-based facilitation, peer connection, and hands-on learning.

    Program overview
    Module 1: In-Person (October 28-30, 2025) Held during CGA’s Energy Nexus & ATC conference in Calgary, this day-and-a-half session will enable participants to explore the full energy business cycle and establish leadership foundations while networking with top industry leaders.
    Module 2: Virtual (February 10, 2026) A coach-supported, interactive session focused on building a personal strategic plan for professional growth.
    Module 3: In-Person (June 22-23, 2026) Hosted in Ottawa, this session will help participants sharpen their leadership skills, communicate with confidence, and put their growth plans into action in real-world contexts.

    The Canadian Gas Association is proud to present the first Annual CGA Academy. The CGA Academy will bring together two well-established curriculum-based courses  – the Gas Measurement and Regulation School’s course content and the Annual Regulatory Course – under a new unified platform taking place June 23-26. This integration enhances learning opportunities and streamlines access to key regulatory learnings and updates, fostering a more comprehensive educational experience.

  • CGA Energy Security Summit 2025

    The Canadian Gas Association is hosting the first Energy Security Summit. This premier event is a gathering of decision-makers, security experts, and energy system leaders. Over two days, participants will share insights into the evolving global threat landscape, Canada’s opportunity to support global energy security, and the technological advancements necessary to protect and enhance our energy production and delivery systems.

    Day 1 sets the stage by exploring current threats and challenges, with keynotes on global geopolitical conflict and increasing cyber risk, followed by panels on the manipulation of energy systems and a look at the role of security and operational technologies and how to secure them. The afternoon will focus on evolving global energy trade, economic security, human and system security, and AI within data security.

    Day 2 is forward-looking, with sessions on the defense-energy cyber nexus, inter-sector collaboration, and the role of fuel in ensuring long-term reliability in energy systems. The summit concludes with a keynote addressing Canada’s role on the global stage, followed by concluding remarks and insights.

    2025 CGA Energy Nexus & Annual Technical Conference - Fuelling the Future

    Thank you for joining us in Calgary, AB, for an inspiring week at the CGA Energy Nexus & Annual Technical Conference.

    This year’s program brought together leading voices from across Canada’s energy sector for engaging plenaries, in-depth technical sessions, and our largest exhibition to date, showcasing the innovation and collaboration driving progress across the gas energy industry.

    More than 445 attendees took part over four days, featuring 8 plenary sessions, 24 concurrent sessions, 26 technical showcases, an exhibition reception, and the CGA Annual Awards Gala. Discussions covered the full gas energy value chain, including natural gas, hydrogen, and RNG, and explored the technologies and partnerships that ensure gas energy remains a cornerstone of Canada’s reliable and affordable energy system.
